Welcome to the Inflammation Research Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging and encouraging scientists, researchers, students, teachers and clinicians with an interest in inflammation biology. Our mission is to foster and facilitate a more informed, connected and collaborative community whose goal is to serve and promote scientific and technological advances towards developing new therapeutic strategies for complex and diverse inflammation-related diseases.
Dear IRA members, given the continuing impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the IRA board and organizing committee has made the decision to further postpone our 21st International Conference to next September, 2022.
As with the first postponement, we are prioritizing the safety of our speakers, attendees, and exhibitors as well as ensuring the success of the IRA2022 meeting itself. With the ongoing uncertainty of traveling and attending in person, we believe it is again more prudent to postpone until September 18th – 21st 2022.
Members have unequivocally stated their preference for in-person meeting when safe to do so. Jo Viney, our keynote speaker, has again graciously agreed to open the conference with the keynote address on Sunday September 18th , 2021. We have also secured the same venue, the Elizabeth Hotel in Fort Collins, CO and overall the program is similar.
We would ask you all to communicate this information to your speakers, sponsors and vendors with the hope that they will again commit to supporting and attending the meeting in 2022.
Please stay tuned for more information on IRA2022.
Thank you on behalf of the IRA and our conference organizers,
Caralee Schaefer & Alison O’Mahony
