The IRA is pleased to announce co-sponsorship
along with Charles River Laboratories and the
Pulmonary Research Group of the Fall 2009 Pulmonary
Research Group Symposium to take place October 30 in
Shrewsbury, MA. This year's symposium is entitled
The Role of Ceramide, Sphingomyelinases and
Sphingosine 1 Phosphate Signaling in Pulmonary

What Underlying Mechanisms Cause Rheumatoid Arthritis?

An IRA sponsored meeting is planned for November
2-3, 2009 in La Jolla, CA on the subject of What
Underlying Mechanisms Cause Rheumatoid Arthritis.
This meeting will focus on topics such as Lessons
from Genetic Studies, Predictability of Animal
Models, Translational Medicine Approaches, and
Lessons from Recent Therapeutic Breakthroughs. The
meeting will be held at the Johnson & Johnson
Research and Development conference center in La
Jolla (3210 Merryfield Row-near the Torrey Pines
