17th International IRA Conference to be Held Fall, 2012

Every two years the Association organizes an International Conference that attracts several hundred scientists, with attendees from all over the world. Planning is now beginning for the 2012 Conference and we are in negotiations for a new location in the Northeast.  Preparations for the conference are beginning now and we welcome your participation.  For those interested in volunteering for the overall conference planning, including the Van Arman and poster competitions, please contact Andy Glasebrook (president@inflammationresearch.org).  For those interested in volunteering for the scientific committee, please contact Arpita Maiti (vicepresident@inflammationresearch.org).

C. Gordon Van Arman Award

The Inflammation Research Association's C. Gordon Van Arman Award Competition is for the encouragement of young scientists (candidates for advanced degrees: M.S., Ph.D.,M.D., D.O., D.D.S., D.V.M., and first year post doctoral fellows) to perform exploratory and applied research in the general area of inflammation.
