Poster Display
Instructions
These instructions apply
to all posters
(General and C. Gordon Van Arman)
1. The poster board
will be 6 ft. wide and 4 ft. high. The
actual printed posters should be no larger than 5
ft. 6 in. wide x 3 ft. 6 in. high (approx 1.68 m x
1.07 m).
2. Posters will be affixed
to the poster boards using velcro fasteners.
3. The title should be
legible at 10 feet (3 meters) distance (lettering
50 mm or taller). This text should be legible at 5
feet (1.5 meters) distance.
4. A copy of your abstract
(typed in large type) should be posted for the
information of those who study your display when
you are not in attendance.
5. Do not give too many
details. Display only the important information;
avoid clutter.
6. Investigators are
encouraged to submit any number of high quality
and complete posters. However, the posters
must be manned by one of the authors during the
assigned poster time.
7. Prepare all of your
display prior to coming to the meeting.
8. Bring paper and
pen. There are no blackboards available.
Please do not write or draw on the Poster Boards.
9. A complete
report includes an Introduction,
Methods, Results and Conclusion.
10. Handouts of the
display reinforce the take-home message.
