Welcome to the Inflammation Research Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging and encouraging scientists, researchers, students, teachers and clinicians with an interest in inflammation biology. Our mission is to foster and facilitate a more informed, connected and collaborative community whose goal is to serve and promote scientific and technological advances towards developing new therapeutic strategies for complex and diverse inflammation-related diseases.

Dear IRA members,

Given the continuing impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the IRA board and organizing committee has made the decision to postpone our 21st International Conference scheduled from this September, 2020 to next September, 2021.

Please understand that we did not reach this decision easily or without careful consideration for the safety of our speakers, attendees, and exhibitors as well as the success of the meeting itself. With the ongoing uncertainty of the months ahead, we believe it is most prudent to postpone until September 26-28 of 2021. Jo Viney, our keynote speaker, has graciously agreed to open the conference with the keynote address on September 26, 2021. We have also secured the same venue, the Elizabeth Hotel in Fort Collins, CO.

We would ask you all to communicate this information to your speakers, sponsors and vendors with the hope that they will again commit to supporting and attending the meeting in 2021.

Please stay tuned for more information on IRA2020, which will now be held in September 2021.

Thank you on behalf of the IRA and our conference organizers,

Caralee Schaefer & Alison O’Mahony
